David M. Langevin

David M. Langevin, Founding Partner of McSweeney / Langevin, is particularly focused on helping injured people put their lives back together after they have been harmed by the negligence or carelessness of others. He stands by his clients for as long as it takes to make sure they are rightfully compensated, regardless of the case’s complexity or difficulty.

Dave has been able to help thousands of clients recover compensation for all types of injuries from all types of wrongful and dangerous conduct – no matter how long or difficult the fight. Many clients have received maximum compensation after having been turned away by other attorneys. His tenacity, thoroughness and dedication to his clients ensure that no money is left on the table. Dave is motivated by a sense of justice and a need to win, but his clients also appreciate his sense of humor, personal involvement and responsiveness to their needs.

After graduating from The University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, MN with degrees in English and Political Science, he obtained his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law. He worked as an attorney at the law firm of McSweeney & Fay for seven years before joining forces with Rhett McSweeney to form McSweeney / Langevin, a firm that is focused on auto accidents, mass torts, medical malpractice, and products liability. Dave is a member of Minnesota Association for Justice and the Minnesota Bar Association.

Family and friends are important to Dave, as are the organizations that support them. His philanthropic interests include women’s issues, health and medical concerns and individual rights. In his spare time he can be found enjoying time with his family, playing softball or hockey, or going to Twins, Vikings, or Wild games.
